I think the Obama Admin botched this one. They should know that everything gets leaked. They have now lost a huge bargaining chip with the Russians. Wasnt there a more naunced way to work the Iran angle with the Russians than a letter offering a quid pro quo?
ReplyDeleteToday Obama tried to defend this "secret letter" as a letter outlining potential areas for co-operation on mutual security issues.
ReplyDeleteI still am curious to know what the Czech Republic and Polish reaction are to such a suggestion. If you find out, let me know or post a related news article.
I sent a secret letter to girl once in class. Things seemed to be working out ok until the teacher noticed and read it to the whole class. Luckily, I was outlining my disagreement with our withdrawal from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Defense Treaty.
